I love everything about trees: to plant them, to watch them grow, to harvest their fruits, to enjoy their shade, and to explore their fascinating canopies, barks, and twisting branches. I like them alive, and I like them when they have lived their life and have been turned into beautiful wood. I had never tired to admire the beauty of their grains as they are cut open in the sawmill and the glory of their figure as finished furniture or turnings. So this series is dedicated to that beauty and will include drawings and paintings of trees, twigs, barks, and anything other parts of them that inspire and is worth devoting time to observe.
